Amy’s background is in public relations and business development. She has a special interest in technology and has managed numerous high profile development projects. Amy is a lifelong learner and is continuously finding new and creative ways to bring value to her clients. She’s written social media policies for Fortune 500 companies, led conservative clients into the digital age, developed national communications strategies, and has a long list of high profile media placements. She’s earned an M.A. in Communications and an MBA.

AMANDA CARMICHAEL | CO-FOUNDER

With a natural ability for leadership and an intrepid spirit, Amanda relishes the chance to introduce her clients to new ways of communicating and connecting. Amanda brings a sense of fun and possibility to everything she does. She has worked in PR for the past 15 years, with experience in just about every industry- from fashion, healthcare, politics, and insurance, to event planning and the hospitality industry. Amanda moved to Chattanooga in 2004 and immediately became involved in various organizations. She was a founding board member of the Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga and has served on event planning committees for the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, the Creative Discovery Museum, Cornerstones, Signal Centers, and On Point. She is a graduate of Leadership Chattanooga and served on its Alumni Association board. She currently serves as the PR chair for Wine Over Water and is on Cornerstones, Inc.’s BOD and development committee.

Lorem ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
